A Wiseman’s Engineering wiring harness designed to make standalone engine wiring easier.
This is for engines using the DDE4 ECU, including M57 184/193.
Designed for use with a deimobilised ECU, this harness replaces the vehicle body side wiring.
The loom connects to:
- ECU
- BMW throttle pedal (E46 newer style)
- OBD port
It has outputs for:
- Oil light
- Charge light
- Inline fuel pump
You connect:
- Ignition supply
- Permanent 12v supply
- Battery negative
It does not include the main relay wiring, it is important that this is connected correctly and details can be found in our wiring guide.
Whilst every effort has been made to provide detailed instructions to make the loom as straightforward as possible to fit, it still relies on a reasonable working knowledge of vehicle electrics in order to find and safely connect to power and ground sources. We have included the fitting instructions below to aid your judgement:
