House of Torque, built for the enthusiasts by the enthusiasts.
Since our founding in 2018, House of Torque has been quietly powering thousands of BMW M57 engine conversions across the globe — from the rugged terrains of the UK to demanding environments as far afield as Tasmania. What began as a hobby, converting engines for ourselves and friends, quickly evolved into a mission to improve the parts and knowledge available in the market.
We were one of the early companies supporting the M57 conversion platform and, to this day, maintain one of the most comprehensive sets of installation guides available — freely accessible to the community. This commitment to clear, practical guidance has become a cornerstone of our brand and a key reason customers trust our products.
Alongside this, we have developed a growing range of high-quality components engineered to be both reliable and affordable. Our focus has always been to bridge the gap between premium engineering and real-world usability, ensuring our parts deliver consistent performance without unnecessary cost.
While our roots are firmly in M57 conversions, House of Torque has expanded significantly. We now support a wider range of drivetrain solutions, including 8-speed gearbox conversions using the CANTCU controller — such as 8HP swaps into TD5-powered vehicles. Importantly, many of our products are not limited to engine swaps and are widely used across standard vehicle applications.
We are continually working towards becoming a true one-stop shop for engine conversions and performance upgrades — supplying not just individual components, but complete, integrated solutions that simplify complex builds.
Operating from the UK, we supply customers worldwide, with a strong international presence built through organic demand and reputation rather than traditional marketing.
Looking ahead, House of Torque is positioned for continued growth. We plan to expand into additional engine platforms, develop new product lines, and further strengthen our position as a leading supplier in the performance and conversion market. The brand’s potential extends well beyond engine swaps, with opportunities across broader automotive sectors.
Our mission remains simple: to provide the parts, knowledge, and reliability needed to make complex automotive projects achievable.
