This gadget serves two purposes, fan control and reverse light.
Fan
Compatible with DDE 4, DDE 5 and DDE 6 .
Contains a low side relay trigger which activates at 94C and turns off at 90C.
From Jan 2025 we have also included the option to run a PWM fan, like the fans fitted as standard to BMW vehicles.
Reverse
Compatible with 6hp transmissions
Supplies a 12v output (up to 10A) to power a reverse light when the transmission is placed into reverse.
Wiring to connect
Supplied with a plug and pig tails. Connections to be made are:
- Ignition Live
- Ground
- Canbus High
- Canbus Low
The canbus circuit resistance will need to be correct (60 ohms), refer to our wiring guide for details
