EWS Sync
If you have an EWS emulator fitted, you have found that your engine will not start and you have an EWS code, you may have to perform a resync.
The most common reason why the emulators lose sync is if the power has been removed from the ecu before the main relay has turned off. Examples of ways this can happen include:
- Battery isolator
- Removing battery cables
- Faulty ignition switch
- Weak battery.
